I'm Susannah Cohen, a qualified City of London Green Badge Guide, former journalist and huge Slow Horses fan. I'd read Mick Herron's books before creating this tour, which I first led back in 2023 — making it the original (if unofficial!) Slow Horses walking tour. As a City resident, I love sharing the real London behind the fiction, with insider knowledge and a few surprises along the way.

  • The Slough House office is in Aldersgate Street; other London locations include King’s Cross and Pall Mall. Discover more locations

  • You can stand outside the building that inspired Mick Herron’s novels (and that is used in the TV show) but I can’t guarantee you will find failed MI5 agents inside!

  • The tour takes around two hours.

  • The tour starts outside Greggs, 91 City Road – right beside the Cowper Street exit of Old Street station (Northern Line, Bank branch).
